Realmloom keeps your complete adventures, journal, continuity records, and downloaded images on your device. When you request AI content, only the information needed to fulfil that request is sent to our service providers.
Who operates Realmloom
Realmloom is operated by the independent Realmloom developer. For privacy questions or requests, email realmloom@gmail.com.
Information we process
- Account information. Realmloom may create an anonymous Firebase account. If you connect Google, we receive your Firebase user ID and the basic account details Google makes available, such as your name and email address.
- Story and creative input. World descriptions, character details, preferences, chosen actions, custom prompts, and a compact portion of story context are processed when you request an AI-generated world, scene, continuation, or image.
- Safety reports. If you report a generated scene in the app, we receive the report category plus that scene's title and displayed text so we can investigate the AI result. We do not attach that report to your Realmloom account.
- Entitlements and rewards. We process story and image credit balances, premium status, promotion redemptions, affiliate attribution, reward tickets, and completed advertising transaction identifiers.
- Advertising and consent data. In versions that display ads, Google AdMob and its partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, consent choices, and ad interactions. Realmloom receives limited reward-verification data when you complete a rewarded ad.
- Technical information. Our service and hosting providers may process basic request, device, network, security, and error information needed to operate and protect Realmloom.
Information that stays on your phone
Your full story transcript, generated world, character, journal, continuity ledger, settings, and saved media are stored in Realmloom's private app storage. Realmloom does not currently provide cloud story synchronisation. Relevant compact context is sent only when needed for a generation request. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage may permanently remove this local content.
How we use information
- Provide, personalise, and preserve the continuity of your interactive story.
- Generate text and images you request.
- Authenticate accounts and preserve server-owned credits or benefits.
- Verify rewarded ads, prevent duplicate rewards, abuse, and fraud.
- Maintain security, diagnose failures, and improve reliability.
- Meet legal, safety, and platform obligations.
Service providers
We use service providers only where needed to operate Realmloom:
- Google Firebase for authentication and related account infrastructure.
- Google AdMob and User Messaging Platform for advertising, consent choices, and rewarded-ad verification.
- OpenAI to generate requested story text and images. Realmloom requests that API responses are not stored for model conversation history, but OpenAI's own data handling and legally required retention may still apply.
- Hosting and network providers used to deliver Realmloom's secure relay and this policy.
Their processing is governed by their own terms and privacy notices, including Google's Privacy Policy and OpenAI's Privacy Policy. We do not sell your personal information.
Legal bases in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
Where these rules apply, we process information to perform our agreement with you, based on our legitimate interests in operating and securing Realmloom, with your consent where required for advertising, and to comply with legal obligations. You may withdraw advertising consent from Realmloom's privacy choices without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Retention and deletion
Local adventures remain until you delete them, clear Realmloom's storage, or uninstall the app. Account and entitlement data is kept while your account is active and then deleted or anonymised when it is no longer needed. If you delete your Realmloom account, server-owned credits, premium time, discounts, redemptions, and account history are removed. Locally stored stories and media remain on your phone. An anonymised advertising transaction marker may be retained to prevent the same rewarded ad being redeemed again. Safety reports are kept for up to 90 days and are not attached to an account ID.
To delete a Realmloom account, open Settings in the app, choose Delete account (or Delete guest account), and confirm Delete permanently. A linked Google account may be asked to sign in again to confirm the request. This removes server-owned credits, premium time, discounts, redemptions, and account history. It does not remove adventures or downloaded media stored locally on your phone; delete those from the library, clear the app's storage, or uninstall the app if you want to remove them too.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. You may also withdraw consent and complain to your local data-protection authority. Use Realmloom's settings to manage available advertising privacy choices, and email realmloom@gmail.com if you need help with a deletion request.
Age
Realmloom is intended for players aged 16 and over and is not directed to children under 16. A fictional character's age or life stage does not change the minimum player age. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it where appropriate.
International processing and security
Our providers may process information outside your country. Where required, they use recognised transfer safeguards. We use access controls, encrypted network connections for distributed builds, limited data packets, and server-side verification for account value. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Realmloom changes. We will revise the effective date and provide additional notice in the app when a change materially affects your privacy choices.
